ASA filament can be seen as a great alternative to ABS filament. The material is mechanically very strong and can be printed more easily than ABS. The filament is extra stiff and strong, even at lower temperatures. Very fine objects can be created with ASA filament, which can also be used due to the good properties. The filament is ideal for engineering and prototyping!

Why ASA filament?

ASA stands for Acrylonitrile-Styrene-Acrylate. The material is naturally resistant to UV light and weather influences and can therefore be used excellently in outdoor environments. In addition, the material does not warp quickly and is therefore excellent for printing strong objects that require great precision.

Mechanically strong
Extremely stiff
Good layer adhesion
Weather resistant (UV resistant)
Easy to print
Minimum shrinkage
Fantastic print appearance

Print temperature

ASA filament has a print temperature of 190 ° C - 230 ° C, in addition, a heated print bed is required (95 ° C).
